BOZHANG DESIGN

My design will go with creativity. My design will be with imagination combined with a maniacal focus on quality, respecting for history and the great creative minds of the past, conservation of traditions. My design will concern about natural environment, together with flexibility and the capacity adapting beauty to useful functions, adapting the ancient to modern needs, and adapting traditional craftsmanship to modern technology. I think design stands out for continuous pursuit of stylistic and technological innovation. 

 

While new materials are the embodiment of thinks, design is the result of a diversified but integrated process, and the continuum of intuition project realization. Craft that becomes industry.The final outcome of a chain of value what each component research. Production is fundamental and should be maximized. Therefore, from this point of view, if I want to become an artist or designer, I need to explore and research different areas knowledge. I like the contact with new knowledge and insights, for it can make my life different. In order to design a good object, I need to know significance of innovation, learn crafts and traditional skills, understand use of hightech in real life, master the different materials, and construct distinctive ideas and so on. There are enormous challenges and a huge opportunity for me. This is another reason that I want to become an artist or designer. The challenge of new things has influenced me to develop as an artist.

 

I believe that artist views the world differently. For example, if a chair has four legs, it can be used for sitting. If a lamp has a functioning bulb, it can be used for illumination. But if the chair and lamp are beautiful as well as functional, they help us to live better. I find that design is the way I can change the world. If I continue to explore and effort, world can get better through my design. And as a student, I feel I am ready for further challenges in the field of engineering and design. I want to go on the road of design. I want to develop as an artist in the future. 

After studied industrial design at Tianjin University, I have worked in one design studio in Tianjin for three years. I think the world can get better through the efforts of artists and designers.Later I had the opportunity to continue learning Italian design in Milano. My experience of living and learning in Italy firms my will which I want to become an artist in the future.

 

When people talk about Italian design, they always think of beauty and quality as well as beauty of objects and quality of life. Each product of Italian design clearly shows the fact that technology and aesthetics are two sides of the same coin. The most influential thing obtained in Milano is touching and learning the real Italian Design. For example, last year I had the opportunity to visit the Milan Design Week, and it was really an extraordinary experience. I am not an exaggeration to say that the experience has changed my future. I believe that to become a successful artist or designer is a matter of how much a matter of pride, the innovative ideas and creativity of artists and designers have revolutionized houses, offices and other everyday environments, transforming even the most banal objects into veritable works of art. What I have learned in the Milan Design Week is that, a great laboratory in which culture and experience, tradition and innovation, as well as beauty and efficiency intertwine is the space of production of the think that will change world and peoples future. Ideas that also ask us about the past of a sector in continuous evolution.

 

So many years I feel about design. Things I may bring for this area are whatever abilities I acquired through study or work, my mature and responsible thinking, my style, my creative and meticulous character, my talent in art, then wishing to combine all of them with the best education to obtain the formula which makes an individual feel accomplished along with a nice job. Over time my creativity has grown, and I have explored various paths involving art and design such as craft and textiles. As a designer in future, I need to appreciate the design produce and sell, and also I should pay close attention to the lies behind the object.
